Quest is a nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to help schools build organizational capabilities and drive quality at all levels of the school. Through partnering with Quest, schools will strengthen their capabilities in five core areas: board leadership, leadership and teacher capacity, back-office services, systems of support (e.g., communities, parent involvement) and academic environment. Success in all five of these areas is essential to student achievement.
We believe that providing quality educational options for students from underserved families and communities is one of many important elements in today's education reform. We believe that all students have the capacity to be successful regardless of their socioeconomic background. We believe that schools can be successful with the right leadership, strong systems and sufficient resources. We believe that results matter. We believe that student achievement depends on the strength of the board, leadership of the school, the caliber of the teachers, the strength of the school's financial operations, the involvement of parents and communities and the desire for rigorous programs and continuous improvement.
